Thermal and mechanical complex systems have been largely addressed by Sonaca with relevant projects like the MASCOT Lander. Sonaca was in charge of the Thermal Control System (TCS) for the asteroid lander developed by DLR and on-board the mission Hayabusa-2 in collaboration with JAXA and CNES. The competences applied is this project were mainly the TCS design including the thermal subsystem architecture, modelling of the hardware, analysis results evaluation, sensitivity analysis, thermal tests and model correlations.
