Selected by the European Space Agency (ESA), Siemens and Sonaca are collaborating in the framework of Design4AM project to enhance the Siemens Digital Innovation Platform for industrialization of additive manufacturing (AM). Based on Siemens’ software, development of design methods for AM will be validated by Sonaca thanks to relevant case studies of space applications selected in agreement with ESA. This will provide a robust design & sizing environment dedicated to AM structures based on the most up-to-date numerical methods.
